Caldwell Chapter
The Caldwell Chapter of the Idaho Writer's League is a unified support group for writers networking with other I.W.L. chapters throughout Idaho. Some of our members are published, others are in their first steps of becoming serious writers. Our group provides encouragement, inspiration, motivation, and education through workshops, guest speakers, critiquing, contests, and our annual I.W.L. State convention.
If your dream is to become a writer, regardless of your genre, be it novel, short stories, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, autobiography, or other, we are here to share information about contests, publishers, agents, and to give you support, opportunity for growth, and provide the tools necessary to help fulfill your goal as a writer.
We invite you to join us. Our meetings are held at the Caldwell Public Library 1010 Dearborn St., Caldwell, ID 83605, every third Thursday of the month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
For more information or directions call (208)-459-6119, or (208)-859-4206 or email caldwell@idahowriterleague.com

In early 1940, the Caldwell Chapter of The Idaho Writer's League, (I.W.L.) was one of 9 chapters formed in the Treasure Valley area. Listed are some of our earliest members. Most are gone now, but their work lives on in our chapter history, and in the literary world. These are only a few of those early pioneers. Perhaps you will recognize someone.
